The Secret of NIMH is a film based on the book Mrs. Frisby & The Rats of N.I.M.H. This was the first major motion picture from Don Bluth after leaving Disney with many animators to start their own studio. Don Bluth is also responsible for American Tail, or most animated films that are not Disney :)
